Fellow Philatelists,
An exciting opportunity for all exhibitors to try out that 2-3-4 frame exhibit you've been working on!
The Rockford Stamp Club has announced the eighth annual “Rockford 2-3-4 Stamp Expo.” Our show will continue to offer exhibitors a venue exclusively for two, three and four (2-3-4) frame exhibits.
In the American Philatelic Society’s (APS) World Series of Philately (WSP), the national-level shows, there are two major categories of competition: multi-frame (up to 10 frames) and single frame. Smaller 2-3-4 frame exhibits can be overshadowed by well-developed 5-10 frame exhibits and usually are not considered for the Grand or Reserve Grand awards.
The Rockford 2-3-4 Stamp Expo is an annual venue that features these 2-3-4 frame exhibits in an open competition that will be evaluated by APS-accredited judges following APS guidelines and Exhibit Evaluation Forms (EEFs) with points. The judges for 2026 are Rob Henak and Tim Wait.
The coveted Rockford Sock Monkey Grand award will be given along with Large Gold, Gold, Large Vermeil, Vermeil, Large Silver, Silver, Silver-Bronze and Bronze awards, as per the APS Manual of Philatelic Judging and Exhibiting, Seventh Edition.
